THE THOUGHTS BEHIND THE ENHANCED VERSION

With more than 4 years experimenting with the old and new tomb editor I thought that this is the right time to give my first project a second chance.
The Great Pyramid may came out after "The 4 secrets" project but it was my first complete level actually. "The 4 secrets" project was my first attempt with the editor when 
I didn't knew anything about Michael Prager and trle.net so it wasn't in my plans of making it a game back then. It was just test rooms that I had decided to connect them 
after finding out about the trle community. But the The Great Pyramid didn't go so well after all and thats because of many factors as I was rookie with the editor, 
very excited about releasing my first game and having a feel that a small game must be somehow difficult in order to last a little longer. Maybe I thought that veteran
players folowing trle.net from early days always wanting a tough experience on average.But some reviews proved that I was wrong. Now I feel that I can give more love and care
to the game and finaly make it looks the way I really wanted to.



WHY NOT A REMAKE?
------------------

This was something I wanted to avoid from the start because making a remake would have taken me a year or even longer.This is something inevitable when you creating a level
from zero and having high expectations of yourself. I thought that it was better for me to sacrifice this long period making a new adventure rather than walking on 
familiar paths. And to be honest TGP wasn't so bad (at least graphically) so I ended up starting the "polishing procedure"
The good thing was that there was so many problems with gameplay that I could easily fix them and give a whole new feel to the game even if it's the same game. The overall 
makeup of the game took me less than a month but the changes are huge and affecting the gameplay in a very positive way.Almost no backtracking,nothing impossible or very hard,There are also some 
rooms with redone geometry,some with new puzzles and a smaller pyramid that can be entered! For further enhancements I have a list below.


* Better lighting, geometry,texturing and shadowing
* Limited ammo for realism and a new perspective of the core gameplay
* More than double the ammunition in comparison to the original (unlimited pistols ammo excluded)
* Crossbow with 3 types of ammo
* 6 secrets overall instead of 3.  (3 secrets for each level)
* Killable mummies with new more realistic dying animation (can be killed with every weapon)
* Enhanced audio and effects
* Enhanced flybys and static cameras
* No backtraking (there is almost a perfect way to progress)
* Motorbike with reverse in contrast to original
* Much more puzzles to solve 
* Proper load screens and fonds
* Faster climbing,ledge corner and proper ladder dismounting
